The anticipation
for HyperFest was well worth it because it was an unforgettable experience for
CTS-V Racing. With the Patriot
Missile still in the tuning zone, and Summit Point Raceway being an
unknown track, Alan Cohen took first place in the TT2 Class, as well as having
the fastest time of the day.
Before Sunday's victory, PerformanceMotorsportsNetwork.com's Radio Host, Krista
Elyse interviewed Alan after a Ride Along in the Patriot Missile about his
passion for Road Racing and the skill involved handling such a powerful machine on a race track. (See It Here Now!)
While being on track is a great experience, it can also be dangerous. Among all the excitement of
events, on Saturday afternoon, a driving
instructor was killed while riding passenger
in a car when its driver lost control and went off the roadway. Nobody
goes out to track events expecting to have this happen. Our thoughts and
prayers go out to both the driver and instructor’s family.
