The Patriot Missile Transformation

Winter is almost over in the Northeast and that means the 2016 race season is right around the corner.  The Patriot Missile is currently at GevPwr Headquarters in Signal Hill, California undergoing a full race car transformation.

Phase I & II (Completed)- Welding specialists have stripped down and caged the Patriot Missile with overbuilt safety equipment to ensure that we’ll never have to worry about passing tech.

Phase III (In Progress)- GevPwr is in the process of removing all unnecessary weight (60 pounds of wiring and computers currently removed)

Phase IV- Since all factory computers are removed, GevPwr will rewire the entire Patriot Missile to be fully functional again.

Phase V- The Patriot Missile will have larger coolers installed for engine oil, power steering and the intercooler; allowing the Patriot Missile to run cooler so it can stay out in a track session longer.

Phase VI- A larger, more efficient supercharger will be installed for more power.

Phase VII- An updated surge tank and fuel pumps will be installed.

Phase VIII- Alan Cohen will head to California to Test & Tune the Patriot Missile with GevPwr at a local track (exact day and track to be announced) before coming back to New York for the East Coast race season.

Two More Track Records Set for CTS-V Racing

First time at a race track..no problem!  New tracks are no match for Alan Cohen and the Patriot Missile.  Despite a minor run-in with a tire wall, CTS-V Racing set a new CTS-V track record of 1.48.5 at Sonoma Raceway on June 6th.

With three weeks to recover from its accident, the Patriot Missile was fully restored and remastered by GevPwr and JP Wraps.  Thanks to all their hard work and dedication, the Patriot Missile was back on track at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas, California this past weekend.

The Patriot Missile encountered some minor issues Friday on track - failure of a front right caliper.  As always GevPwr came to the rescue and had parts overnighted from Alex Perez at Guaranty Chevrolet.   The Patriot Missile was fixed early Saturday morning and back on track to set another Cadillac track record of 1.37.8.
